“The retail fuel transfer pump business has been quiet for far too long,” said GPI President Vic Lukic. “Our new suction pipe is a game changer and we want to make sure that we’re providing our distribution channels with the kind of consumer marketing support that an innovation like this deserves.”
The campaign grabs listener’s attention by highlighting how GPI fuel transfer pumps “suck” just as much today as they will tomorrow due to the innovative suction pipe design with “zero-loss” suction. The patent pending suction pipe is made in-house at the Wichita, KS manufacturing plant.
The first spot will debut on Friday, March 11 on stations with a higher incidence of listeners likely to use fuel transfer pumps for work or leisure. The campaign directs consumers to “find Made in the USA GPI fuel transfer pumps at local farm supply stores.”
“Connecting our marketing efforts directly to our retail channel partners is a key part of our ongoing sales strategy,” said Don Stucky, Sales Manager, Retail Distribution.
The campaign will run on popular Sirius XM channels including CNN, Fox News, ESPN, NFL Talk, MLB Homeplate, Mad Dog Sports Talk, Road Dog Trucking NASCAR, Comedy Central, Rush, Raw Dog, Jeff & Larry’s Comedy Roundup and Rural Radio.
